Elevate your breakfast or brunch experience with this exquisite Avocado Toast recipe that harmoniously combines creamy avocado, a perfectly fried egg, sweet honey drizzle, and crispy fried feta cheese.

PREP TIME 5 minutes
COOK TIME 10 minutes
SERVES 1
INGREDIENTS
1/2 ripe avocado
1 slide of whole-grain bread (I use Dave's Killer Bread, 21 Whole Grain and Seeds)
2 oz feta cheese (crumbled)
1 egg
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
salt and pepper, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Spray a non-stick skillet with olive oil spray and heat over medium-high heat.
In a circle, add crumbled feta to the skillet. Sprinkle red pepper flakes atop the feta. Fry for 1-2 minutes.
Add an egg to the center of the feta and sprinkle with salt and pepper (to taste). Cook until the egg is fried to your liking.
Meanwhile, toast whole-grain bread. Once toasted, spread avocado onto the toast.
Serve the fried feta egg on top of the avocado toast and then add a drizzle of honey. Enjoy!
